Learning The “Secrets” of Sales
The most hilarious work of art in the world
One of the ways to express ourselves is through crafting an artwork. It is an incorporation of the creative skills, imagination and feelings of a human being. An artwork has the ability to capture the emotions of its audience, and so it takes a person who’s interested in arts to understand this. Even during the early ages, people have used many forms of art to convey a message and in turn gain the emotions of other people. A successful artist is one who creates a meaningful piece that can stand the test of time. There are times that when you see a work of art you just can’t stop yourself from laughing. If that was what the artist really tried to do (to make it look hilarious), then a laughing situation is inevitable. If you want a good laugh, then continue to read below for some examples of the most hilarious artworks in the world.
The Experts (1837)
People had a good laugh with hidden witty meanings behind famous works of art before they knew Joke of the Day calendars and many more other comical materials. “The Experts”, created by Alexandre Decamps, is one of these artworks and was made after the artist experienced repeated rejection from the French Academy of Painting. This painting represents the art snobs who have only been attracted to conventional styles of painting and are wittily represented by monkeys.
The Flatterers, 1592
The 16th century was famous for producing odd and abstract paintings, and it is also during this time when the “The Flatterers” was created. This painting was painted by Pieter Brueghel in an attempt to portray pretentious people who try too hard to please their superiors.
Joseph Ducreux (1793)
This painting that exudes a pop culture vibe is a self-portrait of Joseph Ducreux and is primarily known for its meme status as Archaic Rap. The painting shows Joseph Ducreux in a top hat, holding a cane while pointing slyly towards its audience.
Paintings of Children, 1888
If we were to talk about moody and mysterious paintings, then Vincent Van Gogh must be first on the list. Although he is famous for that style of art, that does not mean that he is consistent with this tone. Vincent Van Gogh has his own classic style and he uses this even when painting children. “Paintings of Children” is a series of oil paintings that was painted by Vincent Van Gogh while using children as his subjects. The series of paintings was not intended to be hilariously looking but the viewers find it too funny.
When subjected in a modern context, there are paintings that became funny to look at even though its artist did not plan to make it look hilarious. However, each person have their own opinions and what we see may not be true to some.
