Master of all the Puppies is God Father to three Tibetan children.

“1 really wish I could help more. There are thousands of Tibetan children in orphanages in India and Nepal.”

Inside the Stupa there are 3500 Tsa Tsas, one for each of the 2973 victims of 9/11. The rest represent martyrs for freedom all over the world. Also there’s sacred text from Tibet, a Buddha statue from H.H. Dalai Lama along with some ashes from one of H.H. Dalai Lamas teachers. Here is Geshe Lobsang Konchok pictured with H.H. Dalai Lama.

What Is A Stupa?

Many people have been touched by the experience of entering a sacred space, be it a great cathedral, redwood forest, celebrated concert hall or museum. Something speaks to the heart. There is an atmosphere of tranquility and timelessness. It is our intention that our Stupa of Compassion will become such a place.

A stupa is a spiritually empowered monument that symbolizes the inherently enlightened nature of people and provides us with a map for realizing it. Shortly before his death some 2,500 years ago, the Buddha instructed his students to cremate his body and place the remains in a stupa. People could then visit the stupa to venerate it, thereby renewing their connection to the teachings of Buddha. Since that time, many thousands of stupas have been built in many countries. These monuments continue to be constructed to express the aspirations for peace, harmony and liberation from suffering that are the essence of the Buddhist tradition and the hope of all humankind.

We hope that you will return again and again to find peace and comfort here in this place and within your heart.
